Call for development submissions for St Asaph Street in ChCh

Ōtākaro Limited wants to hear from parties with the ability, concept and finances to develop the South Frame site at 169-171a St Asaph Street.

“Sitting at the heart of the South Frame and overlooking the gardens in the new Mataī Common, this site is easily reached by car, bus, bike, or on foot,” says Ōtākaro Limited Strategy and Property Opportunities General Manager Keith Beal.

“This site is just a short walk from the Bus Interchange, Justice and Emergency Services Precinct and Hoyts Cinema complex, so there will be people in the area during the day and into the evening.”

Located within the Central City Mixed Use Zone, 169-171a St Asaph St incorporates three titles with a total land area of approximately 1,394m2.

“Other developments already planned for this block include a school, café and serviced apartments.”

“The developments around the Innovation Precinct laneways are a great example of the potential that lies within the South Frame. We are keen to hear from parties with more great ideas that will attract people to the central city,” says Mr Beal.

A formal EOI process will be open until 12pm Monday 18 December 2017. Interested parties can find more information at www.otakaroltd.co.nz/stasaphst

Ōtākaro will call for expressions of interest in three other sites on the Tuam St side of Mataī Common during 2018.
