Modular Design Handbook NZ Roadshow

The world-first Modular Design Handbook has been lead-developed by Prof. James Murray-Parkesthrough the Modular Construction Codes Board (MCCB) under Monash University. The handbook offers best-practice design guidance for architects, engineers and designers either already working with offsite construction techniques or considering it in the future.

Modular Design Handbook RoadshowThe Roadshow is brought to you in collaboration with BRANZ, the Wood Processors and Manufacturers Association (WPMA), Carter Holt Harvey WoodProducts and Unitec. This event will introduce Prof. James Murray-Parkes and invite you to discover the Handbook and explore its relevance for designers, architects, engineers and all specifiers of offsite construction in New Zealand. There will be updates on the WPMA Timber Design Guides, the PrefabNZ Good Offsite Guide and an interactive opportunity with the Living Pod by Unitec with CHH WoodProducts.

A key component of each event will be consultation and input for shaping the live document, the PrefabNZ Good Offsite Guide that will compliment the Modular Design Handbook, to provide New Zealand specific guidance for the consent and compliance regulatory process.
