Preliminary judging is underway for the NZ Building Awards

Entries for the 2021 New Zealand Building Awards are now closed and the list of Finalists will be announced on Monday 31 May.

The Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner is being held simultaneously in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch on 13 August 2021. General ticket sales will open on Monday 14 June.

About the New Zealand Building Industry Awards:

The New Zealand Institute of Building (NZIOB) has been running an annual awards programme since 1994. For the 25^th edition of the awards in 2018, the NZIOB Awards for Excellence was renamed the New Zealand Building Industry Awards. The new name clearly identifies that this awards programme pertains to the building industry. What has not changed, is the focus of both the NZIOB and GIB® on acknowledging and celebrating the practitioners behind New Zealand’s most successful building projects.
